Lets recap what I did last week......
Tuesday: Went to this new Korean BBQ restaurant in the City for my birthday with my family. The food was absolutely awesome! Defintely one of the best Korean restaurants I've been to. The kimchi was :D~~~ It got to the stage where we were requesting for more and more kimchi! Should've bought some for take away. Had a quick inspect of my apartment and I'm quite happy with the Tenants in it!
Thursday: OooOOoooo I don't feel so good......woke up and spent the whole morning throwing up. Thought I was pregnant or something. Went to work anyway and had to leave at 10:30 since I was spending more time in the toilet than at my desk. Almost fainted walking home from the station and had to sit at the bus stop and rest like an old fogie. When I did manage to get home, found out that my nephew was also sick. Dad was complaining about feeling funny when I went to sleep. When I woke up, about 6 hours later, Dad was also sick but he had a wedding to go to and couldn't stay home and rest. :(
Friday: Despite my suspected case of food poisoning, I went to work anyway and tried to finish as much work as I can and do a hand over for my projects. We went out to the City after work to go to the new easyway thats opened at Hoyts hoping to score a free puppy. Cookies beat me to the puppy :( Anyway, met up with my chinese school friends for a reunion over Korean (Yes I know.....) Luckily.......no food poisoning. It was awesome to see my friends again! Some of them I've actually known since I was in preschool. Went back to easyway again after dinner to try and score a free puppy. No luck :(
Saturday: My Birthday! Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me! Happy birthday to meeeeeeee, I think I smell like I peed! Hip-hip-hooray!!!
Went to the city for a bit of all-you-can-eat Yum Cha with my old workmates who have left the company. I have never seen someone eat so many BBQ pork buns in my life. 1 guy, 6 steamers full of BBQ pork buns. @_@ It was great catching up with some of them. The weirdest story had to be our "resident crazy guy" is now a school teacher. For the love of god NO! Poor kids.....they're going to turn out like him. Or like me. Cos I don't think we're too different when you measure our level of insaneness.
Went home for a nap before heading out at night. Found out that my other nephew is also sick so it couldn't have been food poisoning cos he didn't eat that night. Damn vomit bugs.
Dinner was at Komachi in Surry Hills and the food was awesome! (TOFU STEAK AND GREEN TEA ICE CREAM!!!) I love Japanese restaurants that are actually run by Japanese people! Makes me miss japan. :( Thanks to everyone who showed up that night! Glad you can make it despite the whole footy game thing being held that night. Traffic is such a bitch. I got an awesome fondue set for my birthday (DINNER PARTAY!!!!) and the full set of the Lord of the Rings sound track!! YAY!!! 6.1 surround sound! *^_^* And how could I forget my beautiful bunch of hand cut lillies! They smell beautiful! Thanks babes! I swear they smell like apple......I'm so going to fondue them. We were going to go drinks after dinner, but since my drinking partner was MIA, we thought we'd go try out the new fondue set. MMMMMMMM YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fondue plus japanese horror movies r0x! Oh......I got a call from Moishii as well! *^_^* Despite the fact that I told him on Wednesday that I will go key his car if he didn't call me on my birthday, he still called! AHEAHEa
Sunday: Went with a friend to the new Bondi Westfield. Wuuuuuuuuuuu NICE! POSH! AheAHEa Only in Bondi would you find lobsters in the damn foodcourt. And plastic plates? PFFFFFT yeh right! No such thing! They use all those funky square plates and funny shaped bowls with japanese style food trays! Geeees....lets see them do that in Burwood.....
Today: errrrrrr...........yeh...........studying for my exam tomorrow. As you can see that I am EXTREMELY BUSY studying......no time to procrastinate. *cough* Moon festival tomorrow!! w00t! I need to pack for my trip........but errrrr.......study first :D *mental note, bring sunscreen*
