Its been a while......

I can't remember the last time I've had so much to drink. Well.....its official. I've broken my 1.5L mango beer challenge. My current record stands at 2L. I reckon I could have had another 1/2L before i felt like having my guts ripped out. Thats the scary thing...after 2L.....I was still ok.....a little uncoordinated...but i was ok. That's just so wrong. I think because I havent had a drink for so long, i didn't have the backlog of alcohol from the week before. Plus my body is probably scared i'l go on strike from drinking again and decided to absorb everything. I think my kidneys were quite happy when i sculled the last 1.5L. They missed that feeling. Oh, and i want one of these.

It was good to get back into the swing of things. I've lost count how many friday nights where i've been totally sober. (Yes i make it sound like a bad thing...thats so sad :P ) But last night was good! AHEaHEaH That was the bestest mango beer i've ever had! And its not the alcoholic within me talking. The beer was good! It actually tasted like mango beer and not just beer with mango in it (if it makes sense). It was great to reunite with my drinking buddy as well! *lol* we haven't had a good piss up for awhile. Although i think i walked away from it more intact.....atleast *I* didn't accidently kick a guy on] the street :X *presses [back space] multiple times* AHeAHEAH I love the incidents we cause on Friday nights. I think i almost accidently, unconciously, deliberately, unintendingly try to stab someone with a fork.....I think....

Anyway, *someone* said this is the last time that they're gonna get so pissed. Whatever. To that person, same time, same place next friday. Bring ur wallet. Oh, someone also said they will start drinking shots with me. You are so screwed.

more pr0ning

Ok this time i DO mean pr0ning. I was walking back to the office after buying lunch today and I noticed the local brothel had 2 lamps on in the back alley (Before anyone has dirty comments/thoughts, the fastest way for me to go buy lunch is to go through the back of the building passing the back of a bunch of shops which includes the brothel. And I know its a brothel not because i've been, but because i've been told and they've also stuck 2 naked chickies on their door). Anyway, a few shops down from them is an Adults book exchange store. They also had a lamp in the back alley with it turned on. So is this some unknown landmark/sign thing they use to tell people that they are a brothel or something? Is that how you identify a brothel entrance from the dentist office? What if I use the back door to get into my house more often then the front door and I install lamps there to help me see at night? Will i get people knocking on my door looking for "services"? I wonder if this is some unspoken understanding.....Does the number of lamps also signify anything? Like the brothel had 2 lamps whilst the Adult book store had 1 lamp? 1 lamp = demure, 2 lamps = hardcore? o_O

pr0ning....

Woops......I meant PRAWNING. Sudden impulse brought my family and my Sister's family to The Entrance for the weekend. We bought our fishing gear, swimmers, and most importantly, our prawning gear (Which we quickly repaired with dental floss). We drove to The Entrance and stayed at this motel which was literally a stone's throw from the beach. We dumped our stuff in our rooms, put on our swimmers and walked out our back door straight onto the beach. I've never seen my Dad go so crazy before. We even convinced my mum to get into the water with us. We could barely stand up, not because of the waves, but because we were watching my mum get knocked onto her ass the whole time! hehehe

Later that night we put on our swimming gear and waded into the water around midnight and stayed in the water for about 3 hours. This is the first time i've actually been prawning and i caught prawns!! I guess we were impatient and we went into the water before it was time so our batteries started to die when most of the prawns started coming out. We made do with the little pocket torch i bought long with me. Despite the lighting problems, we still netted a few dozen prawns, half a dozen fishes and one crab! Good thing it was us catching the crab and not the other way around..... *OuCH* This must be the first time i've had seafood for breakfast! AHEAHEa

Anyway, it looks like we might be going back again some time soon......this time we'll be more prepared! BTW i think i'm sunburned again...

A more ambitious attempt........

I'm not sure if i like it.....i kinda screwed up my whole layout cos i stuck the purple flower on first.....then i realised the card was upside down... -_-" yes.....something i would do.....

Vampire Bat

Was talking to a friend about comics and cartoons we used to watch/read as a kid. There was on cartoon I remember watching that scared me so much I was crying by the end of it. Everyone was out except my grandparents so it was only me watching TV. The Cartoon was something along the lines of a "vampired bat" that went around sucking the redness out of tomatos so they all turned white. The villagers eventually found out about the bat and chased it away. But the very last scene of the cartoon was of a single white tomato sitting in a carton of red ones. I was so freaked out by this that I ran to my room and was crying in bed. When my parents and bro/sis all came home from work they found me crying in bed and they didnt understand what I was crying about because all i kept saying was the bat sucked the tomato white o_O Anyway....purpose of this entry is whether anyone remember ever watching that cartoon? Wouldn't mind watching it again if i can get my hands on it AheAHEaHE

Disclaimer: I was 5-6yrs old at that time. This is not a recent event! :P

New Blogger

Oh btw.....for those of you that haven't noticed, I have a new blog layout. :P Gonna work on a banner a bit more once I have time.....

Boredness

Ok I got bored again........so heres my second attempt...photos a bit blurry...but u get the picture. I need better tools and more paper! i spent $30 on paper today but i need more cos i dont have all the colours i need! maybe next weekend i'll go again. I wanna make a mega largeeeeeeeee photo frame......might grab a wedding foto of my bros and decorate it for him or something......

Insomnia

*YaWNz* Its 2:30am and I can't sleep. This is what happens when you nap in the arvo. I went to a Craft and Stitch exhibition with a friend and we bought all these books and kits to make our own jewellery, cards, embroidery and a few cross stitch kits. I made a few ribbon roses to give to friends for Vday at dinner time. Too bad i forgot to take fotos of those ones, so i've made a few more. I'm going to find some nicer ribbons to make more roses which hopefully I can turn into a pillow etc. I've also started on quilling. Here's an example of my boredom.......

Anyway, i'm so bored i went and did that physical attraction test thingymajig. Here's a extract again.......

Very Picky: It's official: You're "picky." The fact is you are drawn to the most handsome of the handsome. You know what you like in men and are more selective than most women your age. Your tastes seem instinctual. You'd make a great casting agent, because you have a good eye for men who have "star quality."

HaehAeHa I kinda cracked up when I read that......yes........casting for movies would be good....mmmmmmm Aragorn..... *DrooLs* "Now for the final part of the audition, please flick ur hair around your ruggedly good looks and swing that sword to the right to flex the muscles in ur left arm.....". Yes i'm bored....maybe cos i havent filmed for quite a few months....but i'm not complaining right now considering the amount of shit that happens when we film......*Ahem*saws and trees*Ahem*

Dinner was good tonight despite a few hiccups. E.g. having our table stolen, becoming the temp waitress of the nite, choosing to speak canto to the mandarin speakers, and english to the canto speakers etc. Mass amounts of Mud crabs were good. Should have a cookout one day. I've yet to master how to cook crab nicely. Well i don't have a need to learn how to cook cos my dad and sister likes to cook crab so i won't fight them for that responsibility.

Damnit.....i'm still not sleepy.....might work on a new layout for my blog :D

Romeo & Juliet

We went to watch Prokofiev’s Romeo & Juliet tonight. It's basically a video of the ballet performed in 1966 with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra playing live. We got free tickets to the show and the seats weren't too bad. We had a great view of the screen and the orchestra. The music was absolutely fantastic. All I wanted to do was lie down and enjoy the music. The ballet was good as well, would have been much much better if it was live and the screen didnt shake. It was particularly bad when there was text on the screen because my eyes just x_X We left after the first act because most people found it boring. I wanted to stay as well but my eyes just couldn't see straight. My friend stayed behind by himself to listen to the rest of the orchestra play. Brave soul. :) He was so excited when he heard about the performance. Too bad he was the only one who stayed back. If only it wasn't a friday and i wasn't so buggered. I truely enjoyed the music. Looks like i'll have to do a bit of CD shopping as well.

Meanwhile, on the way to the opera house, we stopped by a second hand bookstore and found 2 of the books i've been dying to get at half price!! It was in such good shape as well! The design of the cover was also the same as the first edition which is what I am looking for and not the later editions currently on sale at the shops. But that means I must find the other 2 books in the series with the same version of the covers! Looks like i'll be raiding a few second hand book stores in the next few weeks.

*SiGH* I'm so tired i don't think any of the last 2 paragraphs make sense but i'm too tired to go back and read over it.

Friday arvo

Ok i got bored.....its friday arvo and i deserve to bludge ok? Anyway. Did a personality test, results seem quite accurate. Some parts I'll determine how accurate it is when i get to it.....Here is a snippet from the intro. The rest i'll keep to myself thanks.

Who You Are

You're adored, and for good reasons
You bring real passion to life. You're a woman of great integrity who'll stand up and fight for causes she believes in. You have a vision for the future and always are searching to find love and a sense of "balance" in your life. You refuse to settle long-term for a boring job or doing something just because it's expected of you. You have good friends and really appreciate the people in your life. You put the ones you love ahead of everything else. In fact, sometimes you can put them ahead of your own needs. You're overdue to bring real romance into your life and ready to experience a powerful "spark" with someone special.

Anyway, Romeo & Juliet tonite, Mud crabs tomorrow nite. Still considering if i should go to the beach on sunday, go to my cousins new house and make use of her swimming pool or just stay home in the supposedly 35degree heat.

Confirmed!

Woohoo!!! Confirmed my tickets to Singapore and Japan today. I'll be leaving Sydney on the 20th March to fly to Singapore for a week. I've been there so many times already that I get around the place by myself. Infact I probably know the place better than my sister who lives there. Shoppingwise anyway. I'm sooooooo looking forward to spending the week with my nephews and neice. I was on the phone with them last night and I promised to go shopping and buying them presents. Actually, I started a few weeks ago...slowly accumulating my bribing presents :D I'll be flying to Japan on the 27th to meet up with my bro and sister in law in Tokyo. They have a cherry blossom season there once a year that lasts for just over a week. Hopefully it will be the week I am there. The trees are all blossoming with beautiful pink flowers and everyone takes a day or 2 off to sit under the trees, have picnics and bond with their family and friends. Some companies even organise a day off for all employees to go enjoy the festivities!

I was also talking to my bro about planning a few day trips out of Tokyo to the countryside and get away from the bustling streets of Tokyo to enjoy some of the scenary. Hopefully we can book a day or 2 at the hot springs for some R&R. Don't know how that would work with 3 kids though....interesting....So far my plans are to travel on the Japanese subways and look for people with funny gadgets that support their head/neck whilst they sleep on the train, helmets with suction caps that keep their head from falling....or those portable suction cap handle thingies that you see in emails circulating the web. Oh and go to the supermarket to look for butter that comes in a stick! AHEaHEaHE But i'm going to be dong some research to try and cram as much activities into the week i am there as possible. Sleep is not an option!!!

HAHAHAHAHA!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH Just something i saw in the papers....

"Gas leaks appear to be the least of the worries of some rail staff. The train to Campbelltown was running about 25 minutes late, reports Andrew Varnava, of McMahons Point, when the intercom sprang to life: "Staff don't appreciate passengers tapping their watches at them. It is not our fault the train is running late." Fair enough, thought our reader, but there was more: "Passengers tapping their watches at rail staff will be ejected from the train." "

Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe

Watching the Lion the witch and the wardrobe last night bought back memories from when i was a kid. I was actually quite surprised by the number of kids there. I didn't expect C S Lewis' books to be so popular. I mean his books are quite old and we were never encouraged to read it at school. Alot of people I know haven't even heard of his books. So i would expect that as time passes, less and less people would read his books. But it was great to see the book put into a play and that so many other people appreciate his work as well. I'm glad we made it to the very last show and we had the most awesome seats all thanks to me cookies! :D AHeaHea Hmmmm...maybe we should write a letter to Peter Jackson and ask him to make the book into a movie too! That would be a challenge for him.....making 7 movies in one go :D
