I'm having problems with booking my ticket to Japan. Well not me, My sister has booked my niece on the same flight as me. But my sister, the other 2 kids and my brother in law is booked on an earlier flight because my flight was all booked out. So the plan is I will take my niece to Japan on a later flight. The only concern was whether she will go with me alone. My sister asked my niece if she is willing to go with me to Japan on her own. And her reply?
"Yes Mummy, because I love Lily Aunty"
*^_^*
And you people wonder why I spoil my niece!!!

I spent the week in Bathurst in a 4-star motel. I had a massive King sized bed with my own tv and vcr, a stocked up fridge and free food all week. The project was a great success and my client was more than happy with my work. Thinking I can catch a plane home and pop out to the city for some drinks would be a great end for the week.
My flight arrived and I boarded the plane. I barely missed cracking my head on the ceiling when I got onto the plane. The plane was TINY. Like TINY with little propellers. There was one seat on each side of the plane and about 1/2m inbetween the 2 seats which was the aisle. Despite the fact that I am short, I still had to crouch down to CRAWL into the damn plane. After a rocky 40min flgith back to sydney through a storm, I arrived in Sydney and got off the plane onto the tarmac only to stand there for 20mins to wait for a shuttle bus to pick us up. then it started raining. Yes......I was on the tarmac and it was raining. So the only thing I could do was this:
Note: My plane was smaller than whats in the picture.
The pilot thought it was so funny he took a picture of all of us hiding under the wing. He said he wants to use it in their magazine.....ok.......Anyway. The bus came after 20mins, picked us up and dropped us off at the terminal. Then i stood there for 30mins to wait for my luggage. They forgot to bring us our luggage......It was left on the plane.... -_-"
Finally got my luggage only to see the line for a taxi was so long it would've taken me 1 1/2hrs to get one. So i ended up calling my dad to pick me up and waited another 30mins. So yes.....that was my week...I really needed to have a friday night drink but i really didn't want to push my luck today.....

Most of my friends know I basically live in a second Chinatown. Infact, alot of newspapers even refer to my area as little shanghai. I mean, as long as you know chinese, you probably won't have any problems getting around my area. Even the local Westpac has chinese signs up. Because of the high density on asians in my area, its not surprising that they open a bubble tea shop. What is surprising, and amazingly stupid is that they have opened 4, yes FOUR bubble tea shops within 50 odd meters. The length of a very short street. I don't know how they expect to make money....but atleast I have an easy way at my area now!! :D
Also, I got bored whilst watching the Oscars last night. Everyone knew who was gonna win anyway. Yay LOTR and Peter Jackson! Anyway, I made this:

I meet up with a friend and we decided to go watch a movie. The movie we decided to watch was The Passion of the Christ. My initial reaction was that this is the bloodiest and most gruesome movie I've ever seen. There was alot more violence then was necessary. But I must admit, between the blood, the violence and the in-your-face special effects, underneath all that was a good movie. Mel Gibson really poured his heart and soul into this movie. When you hear news reports about how religion had saved his life, you can see the devotion and faith he has in the movie. I went to a Catholic school. I studied religion. I went to mass and I said my daily prayers. Yet I never felt that I was truely a Catholic. I believe in *a* God. I believe every religion is talking about the same God and he has only revealed himself in a different way to different people. Jesus, to me has always just been some guy out of some book. However, after watching the movie, after seeing the "story" come to life, it became almost like reality to me. No i'm not having an epiphany......atleast not yet. But i must admit, the movie has me thinking. Maybe I've been wrong all along. Maybe its my lack of faith and my couldn't-care-less nature during school that I don't believe as much as I should. Maybe it doesn't matter what I believe as long as I do good. I don't think watching this movie is going to change me into a weekly church goer and a devoted Catholic. Whether I'll mull over the meaning of life or continue on with my life as it is, its defintely a movie that would make you think. Although I must warn anyone wanting to watch it.....it's not for the faint hearted. Chances are you'll walk out of the cinema like me...wanting to be a vegetarian for the next week or month or so. No, this isnt a review of the movie.....just my thoughts that I would like to go through a few years down the track.....Please ignore...
