Marley & Me
I've recently finished reading this book:

I'm always a sucker for animals, in particular, baby animals and ESPECIALLY puppies. I saw the cover of the book, had a quick read of the blurb and found myself at the cash register. This book is absolutely fantastic. I've had 3 dogs in total, and everything they have mentioned in that book, I have gone through in one way or another. I laughed until I cried, and then I cried until my eyes were swollen. Not the tears spilling over the eyes crying, but the sobbing gasping for air crying. It may sound like an extreme reaction, but some of the things they talked about in the book has really affected me emotionally. Like I said, I've been the proud owner of 3 dogs, 2 of which has passed away. To this day, thinking about their death brings tears to my eyes, but then I think about the good times I've had with them, and I end up with a smile on my face.
For those who are dog owners out there, especially if you have ever lost one of your best friends, you need to read this book. And if you're not, you should still read it and understand why a pet can affect someone's life so immensely. After reading that book, I realised that my dog is also getting old. Although he has quite a few years left in him, I still want to make the most of our time together.
