Ernest Hill

I've been back from the Hunter Valley for less than a week and I just faxed through my order for another dozen of the Ernest Hill Shareholders Shiraz. We opened a bottle last night and my dad absolutely loved it, I knew he would. Compared to the other red wine that my dad drinks, the Ernest Hill one goes down like liquid silk. I managed to score a few bottles of the 2003 Shiraz along with the 2005. My dad is currently making room under our house to age the wine for a few years. I assured him the wine won't last a few years. Theres only 38 cases of the Shiraz left, minus one for me. So if you people want the wine, I would hurry up. I expect after Monday, I would be putting in my order for a few more cases. Hopefully we'll get our wine delivered early next week so we could try the 2003 Shiraz, if its good, we're getting a case of that as well. :D

Our case arrived! The 2003 wasn't as good as the 2005. Not because of the year I don't think, but because it has been aged. I think I prefer my wines to be younger and lighter in flavour. Lets just say the 2005 bottles won't be left lying around for long :D
