My first day

Not a good start when you rock up late on your first day to work. LUCKILY......it was only to the induction program and they were waiting for other people as well. I spent 3 hours today sitting there listening to them introduce the company, goals and my roles and responsibility as an enmployee. There were networking activities, mugshots, free jellybeans and a gorgeous ballpoint pen as a welcoming gift.

When most of that was over, I headed over to my new office. The place is very nice and spacious, although its damn quiet. I got my email account set up after an hour and started spamming, and every keystroke sounded like a thunderbolt in the office. Must learn not to bash my keyboard! I'm still waiting for everything to be set up so I can start working, but I started to learn a bit about the system and who is involved. Overall, the first day wasn't too bad, nothing spectacular has happened yet.....will see what happens. The best thing is, I can see the harbour from my desk. And if I walk to the other side of the office, I see the harbour bridge! MuagaAhaAuha
