This is very tiring...

I've been so tired from work. I have started to accept the way things are at work. I have been proactive and organising meeting with the various people to try and change the processes at work. I've spent extra time putting together training manual in an attempt to train the other people in the office so I am not the only experienced person in the office.

We had a meeting today, basically going through all the projects we have coming up and who we are going to assign to the project. Basically, the answer to every single project, was me. We have so many people in the office. But no one has the skills to run half of the project let alone work on the project itself. I'm really getting tired of all this fighting. Yes, it good to know that I am so highly valued in the company. But it is also very exhausting and draining when you know you can make or break a project simply by not working 23hours out of a 24hour day. It is also quite degrading that I spend more time babysitting other people than actually doing something productive.

I did spend most of today preparing documents and putting together plans to train up other people and trying to reorganise the whole way we structure certain work in the company. The managers and admin people, were obviously very thrilled and excited and basically happy that someone is trying to do something about the shit going on. But I doubt this will last very long. The minute a billable project slips, all hell will break loose and I will get thrown back onto every project there is to do. All I need is 3 days. Give me 3 full days for me to concentrate on this. Please! These 3 days could, hopefully, make a huge difference to the way we work. *Sigh* I am so tired. I feel all achy all over and all I want to do is crawl into a hole and passout. Chances are they'll dig me up and strap me to a computer though. :T
